Adam Moritz

 
Adam is a writer living in NYC.

His work is rooted in the cultural and lived histories of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. His poetry, fiction, and translation work centers around the writers working in Yiddish in the early 20th century. He is a volunteer at the Miracle Garden in the East Village, where he hosts the Mame-Loschen reading and event series.

He graduated from NYU with a major in Math and coursework in Creative Writing and Art History.

In May 2024, he participated in a residency at the Matthew Strother Center for the Examined Life

In August 2024, he will be participating in the Yiddish in Berlin Summer Program
