Adam Moritz
Adam Moritz is a writer, editor, and community gardener based in New York City. He studied mathematics at New York University and Yiddish at the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research and the Freie Universität Berlin. Among other things, he is interested in traditions of experimental poetry and self-publishing on Manhattan’s Lower East Side—especially those of the writers working in Yiddish in the early 20th century.
He is currently a faculty assistant at the Matthew Strother Center for the Examined Life and also edits The Examined Review, a forthcoming publication featuring writing from those associated with the Center.
